KEVLAR® tape is ideal for laminations and repairs. Its plain weave pattern offers uniform strength and drapability for wrapping or laying in strips, particularly for applications of unique shapes. Not manufactured for bullet resistant applications.
KEVLAR® tape is called tape only because of ist narrow width. There is no adhesive of any kind on the kevlar and it does not have an adhesive back. It is made to be used with a resin, like epoxy or vinyl ester. Finished edges make for ease in handling and keep them from unraveling. They make a great alternative to cutting strips from a larger piece of fabric.
KEVLAR® Fabric is made with genuine DuPont™ KEVLAR® fiber. DuPont™ and KEVLAR® are registered trademarks of E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company and are used with permission.
